“I vote Yes for Welsh Independence. For me, the decision to dump waste from an English nuclear power plant in Cardiff Waters is a symbol of how Wales and Welsh culture is and has been treated by Westminster for centuries. It’s not about nationalism – it’s an opportunity to shake up the current outmoded system which keeps us from thriving as a nation and has quietened our voices and culture for centuries, including the intention to suppress and dismantle our indigenous language within our own country. I’ve noticed that Wales is badly represented world-wide — we have so much to offer, and that needs to change. It’s time to overcome our subservience and finally take ownership of the wonderfully diverse and culturally rich nation that is Wales, making it our priority.

Rwy wedi sylwi nad yw Cymru’n cael ei chynrychioli’n llwyddiannus iawn yn fyd-eang – mae angen i hyn newid achos mae gyda ni gymaint i’w gynnig. Mae’n hen bryd i ni stopio bod yn wasaidd a chymryd gofal go iawn o gyfoeth diwylliannol ac amrywiaeth rhyfeddol ein cenedl, a sicrhau bod Cymru’n flaenoriaeth i ni.
