“I fi, mae annibyniaeth yn golygu bod â’r rhyddid i feddwl, byw a gweithio mewn cymdeithas sy’n rhoi gwerth ar degwch a chydraddoldeb a chynnig cefnogaeth a chyfle i bawb. Mae’n gymdeithas sy’n annog trafodaeth feirniadol a hybu’r gwaith o adeiladu dyfodol gobeithiol ar sail egwyddorion cadarn a syniadau blaengar. Un agwedd yn unig o hyn yw annibyniaeth wleidyddol, byddai gwir annibyniaeth i Gymru’n golygu rhyddhau’r meddwl o’i hualau ymerodrol. Mae’r weledigaeth yma’n dipyn cliriach a thipyn agosach pan y’i gwelir drwy lens artist.”
“Independence to me is about having the freedom to think, live and work in a society that values fairness and equality and which provides support and opportunity for all. It is a society that encourages critical engagement and promotes a hopeful future built on a foundation of solid principles and progressive ideas. Political autonomy is but one aspect, true independence for Wales would involve liberating the mind from its colonial constraints. This vision is far clearer and nearer when seen through the lens of an artist.”
